 Poen Van Zyl started hunting with us as assistant during his school holidays from the age of 12. He comes from a hunting family and shot his first Kudu in 2000. During his working holidays whilst still at school , in our Mozambique concession, he shot the community Buffalo on his own most years as well as a host of plainsgame. After leaving school Poen did a tourism Management Diploma and then served a 2 year apprenticeship. In January 2009 he received his unrestricted dangerous game license. Knowing the area like the back of his hand, Poen consistently produces exceptional trophies. You will always find him prepared to go the extra mile.
